CERAMICS PAITING FAQ*

When can I arrive?

Drop in anytime between 10am and 3pm. We recommend allowing up to an hour to complete your piece. You’re welcome to stay longer, take your time, or book multiple items and make a day of it.

What’s included?

Your booking includes a handmade ceramic item, all painting materials, brushes and tools, expert support, and professional stoneware firing after the event.

Do I need experience?

Not at all — this session is open to everyone, from total beginners to seasoned makers.

What will we be painting with?

You’ll be using a specially formulated ceramic glaze with a paintbrush of your choice. Pieces will be fired after the event, giving them a finished, functional surface that’s water-resistant, food-safe, and permanent.

When do I get my finished piece?

All works will be ready to collect from our Paddington studio within 2 weeks. We can also post your piece anywhere in Australia — you can decide on the day.

Will the item I pick look exactly like the photo?

Each piece is handmade, so shapes and sizes may vary slightly. Images are a guide only — no two are exactly the same.

Can kids join in?

Absolutely. This event is open to all ages — just make sure children are supervised by an adult.

What should I bring?

Nothing is required — just wear clothes you’re comfortable in, and bring any ideas or reference images if you have them.
